How my journey began
This fall, I am embarking on a 6-month journey that combines leadership, resilience, and purpose. As I take part in a leadership training program, I will also launch a campaign that brings together two of my deepest passions: empowering families to live happier, healthier lives and raising awareness about dementia caregiving.
At the heart of this campaign are three goals: to inspire and support 20,000 families to begin their own journey toward greater health and well-being, to raise $20,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of the millions of families navigating the challenges of dementia caregiving, and to ultimately climb nearly 20,000 feet to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro—a powerful symbol of the perseverance and strength it takes to carry the weight of both personal and family responsibilities.
This campaign is deeply personal. I am a mom to two young boys, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and a daughter to a mom that I've adventured around the world with. In 2021, my mom was diagnosed with dementia, and I’ve stepped into the role of caretaker while balancing the demands of motherhood, family life, and a career in tech. As a leader in the data and AI space, I’ve learned how to juggle many priorities, but caring for a loved one with dementia has reshaped how I think about health, resilience, and purpose.
Alongside my career, I’ve always had a passion for health and longevity, and in May I graduated as a certified health coach. Health and wellness—mental, emotional, and physical—are at the center of everything I do. Whether coaching my team at work, serving with Rotary, or supporting families through my health coaching practice, my mission is clear: to help others thrive and make a meaningful impact while I am here on this earth.
This climb is more than a mountain. It is a call to action—for myself, for the families I hope to inspire, and for the millions who are caretakers like me. Together, we can rise, one step at a time.
